Texas Rangers Bicentennial Tribute Edition

.22 S/L/LR

Honoring 200 Years of Service to the Lone Star State

Founded in 1823, no other law enforcement agency in the world has built such a storied legacy as the Texas Rangers. They have been involved in some of the most notable events in Texas history like the fight for independence from Mexico to the pursuit of Bonnie and Clyde, and they continue to maintain law and order to this day as examples of what it means to be a Texan and what it means to be an officer of the law. Over the last 200 years, they have become a legendary symbol of the frontier spirit and left an indelible mark on American culture and folklore. The limited Texas Rangers Bicentennial Tribute Edition is a tip of our Stetson to this time-honored establishment.

The Texas Rangers Bicentennial Tribute Edition rifle is built on the award-winning Golden Boy platform featuring a strikingly engraved nickel-plated receiver cover with plated 24kt gold highlights. Prominently depicted on the right side of the receiver cover is one of the most legendary quotes attributed to the Texas Rangers, “One Riot, One Ranger,” on a flowing gold banner. The left side shows the Texas Rangers badge with the dates 1823 and 2023. Near full coverage scrollwork engraving encompasses the rest of the receiver cover flats on both sides.

A buttplate finished in nickel plating caps off a genuine American walnut buttstock engraved with a historical example of the Texas Rangers “wagon wheel” badge. The badges have changed in size, shape, material, and design over 200 years, and today, each badge is made from a Mexican five-peso silver coin. A single star of five points, recognized as the official emblem of Texas since the signing of the Texas Declaration of Independence in 1836, is flanked with oak leaves on the left side, representing strength, and an olive branch on the right symbolizing peace.

Like all rifles in the Golden Boy family, this special edition features a 20” polished blued steel octagon barrel, a fully adjustable semi-buckhorn rear sight, a brass bead front sight, and a magazine tube capable of holding 16 rounds of Long Rifle and up to 21 rounds of Shorts. As an upgrade, the Texas Rangers Bicentennial Tribute Edition has an oversized large loop lever out of the box to fit the theme.

A must-have for any fan of this iconic institution, this rifle is limited to only 1,823 units. Once they’re gone, they’re gone forever. A portion of the proceeds from each sale benefits the Former Texas Rangers Foundation, a 501(c)3 organization from Fredericksburg, Texas, serving current and former Texas Rangers, their families, and their contributions to American history.
